Artificial Intelligence in Aviation: ICNS Conference and Air Traffic Optimization
Artificial Intelligence in Aviation: ICNS Conference and Air Traffic Optimization
January 19, 2026
Our project, developed to take aviation safety and operational efficiency to the next level, is meeting with the scientific community at the International Conference on Navigation Systems (ICNS) in Virginia, USA. As 213 Technic, we are taking our place among those shaping the future of aviation with our accepted research paper.
The "Multi Runway Dynamic Air Traffic Optimization System for High Density Airports" project, which is the subject of our paper, focuses on delays, a major problem for modern airports with high traffic. Developed using a massive operations center like LAX (Los Angeles) as a reference, our AI-powered decision support mechanism prioritizes emergencies and fuel critical situations, ensuring an intelligent flow. Compared to the traditional FIFO (first-in, first-out) method, the 3-5 minute savings we achieve per aircraft translate to thousands of tons of fuel savings and reduced carbon emissions annually. With our human-in-the-loop structure, we are building a future where technology empowers the human factor.
